Immunisations

Immunisations and vaccines by Warrego Medical Centre

Immunisation Overview

Immunisation (or vaccination) is an important public health measure that helps to keep individuals safe from numerous preventable diseases and infections that can cause serious illness. Many preventable diseases (such as Measles) could result in serious infections, death, or disability prior to the widespread availability of vaccines. Therefore, immunisation plays an important role in maintaining your health and the health of your community.

Annual Flu Shots

Annual flu clinics are held at Warrego Medical Centre. The flu virus changes every year, so our doctors highly recommend the annual influenza vaccine to all of our patients. It may be free if you qualify. Please call our office if you would like more information regarding our flu clinic this year, or if you are eligible for a government-funded vaccine.
